Todd turns the BIG 40!

Todd had a much looked forward To BIRTHDAY on 4.5.08 a memorable day to celebrate the big 40 milestone! He was tickled to reach that milestone too! Ah...I guess that I must be honest and truthful....it was NOT a much looked forward to birthday and he was NOT tickled! In fact, he did not even want a Birthday Party at all... however, to humor his Mom and his adorable children he gave in. We had a great dinner and brownies (he did not want a birthday cake....it was just too much to handle) and ice cream and we were allowed to actually sing the Happy Birthday Song....and we all sang the song with ZEST and SMILES! Todd even blew out the "Over the Hill" candle and made a wish! There was much teasing by those adorable children and Todd mostly took the teasing in stride! It was thus mostly a traditional Birthday party. I love the picture with Todd and the kids holding up all their fingers...you are right, count em, 40 fingers! It was great to see the family. We had a wonderful time playing "Snakes and Ladders" and UNO. We had sooo much fun that we lost track of time and played until after 9:00 P.M. Oops! I wouldn't trade a minute though and we truly appreciate any time we can spend together with Todd, Tyler, Rylie and Taryn. Love you all!
