Christmas 2010

Wow! I cannot believe another Christmas has come and gone already! We had a yummy breakfast at Jason and Melinda's house. Todd and family came too and it was so much fun to open presents with both families. Great memories!
We are so blessed to have children and grandchildren that we love and enjoy spending time with!

Candle Lighting 2010

Family, mexican Food and sharing our gratitude and our thoughts about how the "Light of Christ" has helped us throughout the past year was wonderful in every way in our traditional "Candle Lighting Ceremony."

We all love the bonding and sharing and love we feel on this special night. Can't wait for next year. It truly makes our Christmas meaningful when we keep 'Christ' in Christmas!

Taryn's Football

I went to see Taryn's game on Saturday and could not believe the improvement in his game from last year. He is tough and made three great tackles in the game including the a great tackle on the quarterback! Way to go Taryn! You rock!

Laura and Piano

On Saturday we got to hear Laura and her piano class perform. What an improvement she is making in her piano playing.

Our Laura is really progressing so quickly in piano it is amazing. She loves it and it shows in the way she plays...through her whole body and out her fingers. We had a delightful time at her Halloween Piano Party. She played three songs and did a great job. We enjoyed our time with

family!

Happy Birthday to the seniors...65 and counting!

We both have graduated into our Senior moments! Yikes...how did it happen so fast. I had a wonderful birthday in Park City with my sweetheart...Dan and enjoyed all the love, cards, Flowers and parties. We love our family and enjoy every minute we spend together!

Vacation time!

We had so much fun on our trip to Southern California!! Dan did so well that we almost forgot that her was still having trouble walking.

We loved San Deigo, driving along the coast and the great time we had in Disneyland with Jason, Melinda and the girls.

What a treat to see the magic kingdom through the eyes of Laura, Sara and Eliza. It was great having Laura turn 7 years old in the park. We had a great time!

We spent a whole day in San Diego. We had lunch at Anthony's Grotto, and then did some Christmas shopping on the pier.

What a joy it was to see the expression on Sara and Laura's face when the met with the princesses during lunch at Disneyland.

One is never too old to enjoy the day at Disneyland. Can't wait to go back.

Happy Birthday Jason

Happy Birthday means Ribs, napkins and more napkins!!! Yummy food... family and fun. I enjoyed spending time with Jason and Melinda and sweet girls. The "Other" Grandma Garna and Grandpa Gary and Dan and I share some amazing children and grandchildren. We love our family so much.

Nice job Jason picking such a fun place to eat and celebrate your Big Day! Love you Son...Happy Birthday!

Eliza turns "1"

Don't know how happened but our wee baby just turned 1 year old. What a sweet and precious baby she is. We had a wonderful meal...as always...and a fantastic birthday party for Eliza. Melinda did a such a great job putting it all together.

We enjoyed great company with Gary and Garna and our children and grandchildren. Enjoyed every minute.

Taryn turns 10

My grandchildren are growing up! Taryn has hit the double digits....Happy Birthday "10" year old!! I don't know how this is happening go quickly but it is. Taryn is getting taller, smarter, and stronger (playing football every day will do that) and let's not forget cuter.

Todd, Rylie, Tyler and Taryn came to celebrate after Taryn's football practice at around 8:00 PM on Wednesday night. He wanted a chocolate cake with my special fluffy strawberry icing just like I made for Todd when he was a wee boy. Yummy! We had a great time wishing Taryn a very happy birthday!

4th of July

I love the 4th of July...my favorite holiday! The sun and the fun with our family is just priceless. We had a big family gathering this year Bob, Keri and family, Bret and all of his children, Todd and his children. We were missing Jason & Melinda and girls (they were vacationing and were missed) All of my Sib's came...Susan and Carl, Debbie Ondre, Jake, Kevin & Geri. We had such great food and so much fun. Everyone thought it was the best 4th party ever. Good Times!!!

Sunday Father's Day

We had a very nice and quiet Father's Day on Sunday. Dan wanted to go out to eat after church and so we went to Sizzler's and the food was good and we did enjoy ourselves.
We had a great treat when Jason, Melinda and the girls came to wish Grandpa Dan a Happy Father's day. Laura and Sara made great cards for the occasion and the best part were the hugs and kisses...note the one we call "Pile on Grandpa." We love our family!

Fathers Day BBQ

We had a great time eating and talking and laughing at Bret's house for a Father's Day BBQ! The kids made Grandpa Dan a card signed by the grandchildren. So sweet! Keri made a very useful and cute car first aid kit for Dan which he really liked. Good food, company and weather made for a very fun day! We love opportunities to spend time with our family...love you all!

Sara turns 3 years old!

We has so much fun at Sara's Birthday Party. I cannot believe she is 3! She planned her own birthday dinner...salmon, rice-a-roni, couscous fruit and salad! It was all yummy!!! We had decorated cupcakes and ice cream. Delicious

She was just adorable opening her presents and she did get lots of presents!!! She was so excited and grateful. Big "Oh, I love it!" Oh, thank you. Squeals of delight and excitement made opening all the gifts so much fun! We love our Sara with a big personality!!

Babysitting the GIRLS!

Girls rock...I watched our newest and sweetest grandbaby Eliza, Laura and Sara recently while Jason and Melinda went to a family wedding. I enjoyed every minute with the girls. They were such fun and they were all very good girls. The baby really is a fake baby....honestly she really never cries! She eats, drinks a bottle and goes to bed when it is time for a nap with no fussing! I never has a baby like that...amazing! I had a great time...again....girls rock!

Rylie Turns the Big 12!

Goodness time does fly!!! I cannot believe how quickly the grandchildren are growing up and Rylie is no exception. She is growing into such a lovely young girl. She is such a sweetheart and she loves the babies in our family.

Mothers Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of us...Keri, Melinda and Me! We girls were spoiled by Bob, Jason and Bret. Actually, Bret called and told me that the men were taking over all the planning, cooking and cleaning for Mother's day! What a treat for we three girls. We loved seeing all the children and I think everyone had a great time, good food & fun. The weather stayed good so we could get some fun pictures of the family outside in our back yard.

Sleepover's with Grandma!

McKenzie seems to be spending extra time and sleeping over so much lately. At first I thought she just loved us so much that she wanted to spend time with us but in truth she is friends with Kara a girl her age just down the street from us. Those girls have more fun together and they spend so much time just giggling and giggling...and giggling. Brings back memories of Keri Lynn and Nicole Jensen! Good Times!

Keslie get "A's"

Yes that is correct...Keslie got straight "A's" again this term. She is amazing to have moved to a new High School and maintained super grades and lettered in Debate! We are so proud of you and we love you very much! Keep up the good work Kes!

Laura's Choir

We had such a great time watching and listening to Laura sing with her school choir. The songs we happy, bright and uplifting. Laura smiled through the entire proformance and never missed a word or action with each and every song! We loved it and most important...Laura loved it!

Dan's Big Birthday

Dan had a very low key Birthday this year on February 22 but it was nice and comfortable for him. I cannot believe that my sweetheart is 65 years old! Yikes...how did that happen? I love my husband so much and I am so very grateful that he is feeling better now. We will have a proper Birthday Party very soon to celebrate this important Birthday!

January Birthday's!

January has been an extremely busy time for celebrating birthdays. This seems to be the month of choice for our family. Birthday wishes are in order for Adam, Bob, Sophie, Keslie, Tyler, and Emily. We managed to eat our share of birthday cake and ice cream, and enjoy some wonderful time together in celebration. Congrats to all who had a birthday in January. We love you all!!
