Rylie Turns 11

Whew...all of our grandchildren are growing up too fast and Rylie is no exception. How did so grow so fast? We had such a great time seeing Todd and his tan from his cruise and the kids. We don't get to see our family often enough so we take advantage the times we can spend together. We had a nice dinner with all of Rylie's favorites and of course a birthday is not a birthday without cake and ice cream! Happy Birthday to you Rylie...we love you sweetie!

Weekend Break in St. George

We had a delightful time in St. George to soak up the sun and see the Bob, Keri and the kids. We were able to wish Keri Lynn a proper Happy Birthday in person. We got our fill for the moment of hugs and kisses on the grandchildren. I think that Aysha knows us now and that has taken some time to work on since we don't see her often and she moved away before she turned one year old. She definitely knows her Grandpa Dan and she finally warmed up to Grandma Linda. Great accomplishment. Bob and Keri and family took us on a fun filled site seeing tour of all the places they hang out and have fun and we loved seeing all of them. It was a relaxing trip and we were glad to have some down time!

Sunday we went to "Little Zion" for a picnic and hike in the caves.

Following a busy day in the hot sun, the kids came over to our motel and went swimming.

Pre-School Graduation

Laura had her graduation this afternoon from Sunny Daze Preschool. It was just precious with singing, stories, poems and complete with a slide show of the delightful year of fun that was had by all the children. Laura had a very special teacher and learned so much throughout the year and had such great field trips that she will never forget.

Laura stood out from the group (not just because she is my granddaughter...I promise) in every song and said her part of the story perfectly. She is a such a sweetheart. Sara really enjoyed every minute of the program and had a great time watching her big sister. Melinda, Grandma Garna, Grandpa Gary or I could wipe the big smiles off of our faces as we watched the adorable program. Good times!

Mother's Day!

Melinda was so sweet to honor me for mother's day with a wonderful dinner....Salmon to die for other yummy foods to complete our meal. It was a dinner to savor. Laura and Sara made me the sweetest cards for mothers day and Jason and Melinda bought a backup system for our computers to boot! Can you spell SPOILED! That is certainly how I felt.

Thanks to Jason and Melinda we always feel loved and very special! Laura and Sara are completely entertaining and we enjoyed every minute we spent when them! Thanks so much we had a wonderful time.

Happy Mother's Day to you Melinda...You are an awesome Mom to our adorable and delightful granddaughters! Melinda "served me" on Mother's Day without thinking of herself...can you see why we love her so much?
