Family gone missing!

Bob, Keri and family up and moved to St. George for the summer. We will miss them for a time but all should be well and they will return soon. The plan is to find a home somewhere in Utah or Salt Lake County. Hopefully all will work out quickly and the children can get settled in for a new school year. We pray God will guide them to a new and stable home situation for the Reed Family. My heart and prayers go with this family.

The fireworks show!!

Later in the day it felt a little more like the fourth of July when Keri, Bob and the kids came by. We feasted on Pizza and enjoyed a thrilling fireworks display thanks the Bob. The kids were all decked out in their holiday clothing and looked very snappy. It was great to see everybody as Bob and Keri are planning to move to St. George for the summer. We will miss them!

The Beckster!

For the first time in recent memory this fourth of July was spent without a picnic with our family. It seems everyone had something planned, so we had to come up with something, right? Something that wasn't "inconvenient." Something that was close by and easy. It just so happened that our favorite radio-TV commentator was in town. Glenn Beck happened by the mall to promote his new book, "An Inconvenient Book." We picked up a copy of the book and waited in line for literally two blocks to briefly meet him and sign our copy. It was nice to see him upclose and personal.

Sophie reunited!

Dad & I went to court with Bret a week ago Thursday and saw our court system up close and personal and justice was served by a very good judge/commissioner. Bret won visitation rights with his daughter and our family will finally have the opportunity to get to know our Sophie! We have been blessed to finally see and get to know this precious baby. Bret will have Sophie every Sunday for 8 hours. It will start with 2 hours and then work up to the full day. I thought that was the right thing to do since she is only 18 months old and will need some time to get used to all of us.
We went to see our adorable girl on Sunday and it was delightful! She enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed her. While at Bret's house we also had an opportunity to wish Aaron (Jun.23rd) a happy 11th birthday. Our grandkids keep getting older!! We love each of them.
