Dan is getting Older!

Who knew that life was so short? I cannot believe that I am married to a middle aged man! How in the world did that happen? Yes, Dan had another birthday and yes he is getting older but better in every way. He is healthy and happy and has a great attitude.

Thanks to Dan's mom, Jason and Melinda and our sweet girls we had a great birthday celebration!

We have eaten so much cake and ice cream since January for all of the 9 birthday's we have celebrated recently but is has been a fun time for everyone!

Birthday party for Jacob

Jacob returned last Sunday from Hawaii after three weeks. He was so cute with his tan and full of smiles. I think he was just a wee bit happy to be back home but it was hard to leave Paradise!
We had a great dinner complete with cake and ice cream for our 10 year old Birthday boy. He received cards and money and lots of hugs and kisses! I guess the party was the best part of coming home from Hawaii! Welcome back Jacob!

Dinner Invitation!

Dan and I have learned never... never turn down an invitation to eat a meal cooked by Melinda! We were invited to share a steak dinner with yummy potatoes, mushrooms, spinach salad and yes, chocolate dessert with ice cream! What a tasty dinner.

Now if that were not enough we had a such a good time with Jason, Melinda and our Laura and Sara. We love those girls and they completely entertain us! Good times!

We watched the Jazz play Golden State and we lost big time. That was the only part of the evening that was not so much fun!

Super Bowl

Alas, we had another delightful SBS with my siblings and our families at Kevin and Geri's house. We even donned our "goofy" 3-D glasses for the "Monster's show" just after halftime. That was cool! We ate and cheered for our teams and ate and had fun and ate! Yes, we were full and content to hang around and just enjoy our time together. Thanks to Kevin and Geri for hosting such a fun party! When all was said and done, we had experienced a good time, and a good game. Pittsburgh 25, Arizona 21 with a last second tip-toe catch in the endzone!

New Teenager # 2

Here comes Tyler following in the footsteps of Adam and becoming a TRUE TEENAGER!
Yikes! Hard to believe that the boys are growing so fast. Tyler is a great kid and we are so happy that we could share in the 13th birthday celebration with cake and ice cream and I must admit some teasing too. Tyler thinks he will have more privileges and more freedom now that he is 13 year old.....daddy Todd had some different ideas and reminded Tyler that he was still the Dad! Tyler took all the teasing in stride and we had a great time together. It was so nice to have our Rylie and Taryn join in all the fun! Love you all!
