Taryn turns 10

My grandchildren are growing up! Taryn has hit the double digits....Happy Birthday "10" year old!! I don't know how this is happening go quickly but it is. Taryn is getting taller, smarter, and stronger (playing football every day will do that) and let's not forget cuter.

Todd, Rylie, Tyler and Taryn came to celebrate after Taryn's football practice at around 8:00 PM on Wednesday night. He wanted a chocolate cake with my special fluffy strawberry icing just like I made for Todd when he was a wee boy. Yummy! We had a great time wishing Taryn a very happy birthday!

4th of July

I love the 4th of July...my favorite holiday! The sun and the fun with our family is just priceless. We had a big family gathering this year Bob, Keri and family, Bret and all of his children, Todd and his children. We were missing Jason & Melinda and girls (they were vacationing and were missed) All of my Sib's came...Susan and Carl, Debbie Ondre, Jake, Kevin & Geri. We had such great food and so much fun. Everyone thought it was the best 4th party ever. Good Times!!!

Sunday Father's Day

We had a very nice and quiet Father's Day on Sunday. Dan wanted to go out to eat after church and so we went to Sizzler's and the food was good and we did enjoy ourselves.
We had a great treat when Jason, Melinda and the girls came to wish Grandpa Dan a Happy Father's day. Laura and Sara made great cards for the occasion and the best part were the hugs and kisses...note the one we call "Pile on Grandpa." We love our family!

Fathers Day BBQ

We had a great time eating and talking and laughing at Bret's house for a Father's Day BBQ! The kids made Grandpa Dan a card signed by the grandchildren. So sweet! Keri made a very useful and cute car first aid kit for Dan which he really liked. Good food, company and weather made for a very fun day! We love opportunities to spend time with our family...love you all!

Sara turns 3 years old!

We has so much fun at Sara's Birthday Party. I cannot believe she is 3! She planned her own birthday dinner...salmon, rice-a-roni, couscous fruit and salad! It was all yummy!!! We had decorated cupcakes and ice cream. Delicious

She was just adorable opening her presents and she did get lots of presents!!! She was so excited and grateful. Big "Oh, I love it!" Oh, thank you. Squeals of delight and excitement made opening all the gifts so much fun! We love our Sara with a big personality!!

Babysitting the GIRLS!

Girls rock...I watched our newest and sweetest grandbaby Eliza, Laura and Sara recently while Jason and Melinda went to a family wedding. I enjoyed every minute with the girls. They were such fun and they were all very good girls. The baby really is a fake baby....honestly she really never cries! She eats, drinks a bottle and goes to bed when it is time for a nap with no fussing! I never has a baby like that...amazing! I had a great time...again....girls rock!

Rylie Turns the Big 12!
